Assistant Store Manager

Starsky Fine Foods located in Mississauga is looking for an Assistant Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager is primarily responsible for planning, managing, organizing and controlling the daily activities of the store operations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store operations, including store performance, control of cash, inventory, security, customer service, and employee management.
  • Enforce and ensure compliance with operational, customer service, and corporate personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that products are properly displayed and ordered in a manner to maintain in-stock conditions.
  • Handle issues related to store maintenance, cleanliness, safety and sanitation.
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with the Employee Handbook, health & safety laws, food safety regulations, employment standards, and other laws applicable to the business.
  • Respond to workplace accidents, incidents, injuries and illnesses by conducting thorough investigations and completing investigation reports.
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management or executives.
