Our Thunder Bay location in Ontario, Canada is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Administrative Assistant, Ontario Woodlands.

This job is permanent, full-time.

Administrative Assistant, Ontario Woodlands Resolute Forest Products is seeking candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant for our Ontario Woodlands team in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The Administrative Assistant reports to the Vice President of Operations and is directly responsible to provide site level administrative support for the Ontario Woodlands management group.

Your challenges: Perform a variety of administrative duties such as answering the phone, picking up the mail, typing and/or distributing correspondence, and scheduling and arranging meetings Compile reports and distribute to the management team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis at the request of the VP of Operations Make necessary travel arrangements for Woodlands staff by obtaining flight, car rental and hotel reservations and prepare and submit expense reports to accounting for payment Input and extract required information from available business systems and sharing data with key personnel Manage filing of various Woodlands contracts Submit purchase requisitions Conduct all office functions and administrative duties As requested, conduct ad hoc research, compile information and make recommendations Participate in/preparation of special assignments and analysis as initiated by the VP of Operations and Operating Managers.

Support and ensure adherence to corporate and local policies and procedures.

Your team: Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will be part of a results-oriented team whose members are encouraged to exceed expectations.

Your profile: Certificate in Office Administration / HR, Business Administration or equivalent.

3-5 years of work experience within an industrialized manufacturing setting.

Your skills and assets: Excellent interpersonal skills required, including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment Highly effective written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to balance priorities that meet short and long-term objectives Extremely organized and efficient work methods Proficient analytical skills and excellent attention to detail Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Guide TI and SAP would be an asset Self-motivated with an optimistic outlook and the ability to motivate and energize others Only selected candidates will be contacted.
