The LDB is one of two branches of government responsible for the cannabis and liquor industry of B.C.
We operate the wholesale distribution of beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis within the province, as well as the household retail brands of BC Liquor Stores and BC Cannabis Stores.

Retail Operations, encompassing the three retail business units of Merchandising, Marketing and Store Operations, is responsible for the daily operations of the 198 BC Liquor Stores.

The Retail Replenishment Analyst (RA) is an important member of the LDB Merchandising team and manages all aspects of product demand forecasting, allocation and inventory management.
The Analyst is responsible for leading the creation and management of inventory for 198 BC Liquor Stores.
The Analyst manages the replenishment to support sales forecasts, integrating and analyzing data from numerous sources, and using a variety of quantitative methods.
The Retail Replenishment Analyst purchases approximately $400
– $600 million of product inventory for retail stores per annum.
In addition, the Analyst leads and contributes to the development and implementation of merchandising strategies which have a direct impact on the LDB’s revenue objectives.
The Replenishment Analyst is the key point of contact for BC Liquor Stores and Vendors for all topics related to replenishment and deliveries.

Position Requirements: Education and Experience: Degree or diploma in operations management, business management, purchasing and inventory control or similar discipline and a minimum of two years of recent, related work experience or a minimum of five years of recent, related work experience.
Recent, related work experience (within the last 7 years) must include experience in the following: Preparing, reconciling and updating product demand forecasts.
Conducting data analysis and modelling and interpreting results.
Managing inventory in a retail environment.
Collaborating with a variety of internal and external partners (e.g., marketing, vendors/suppliers, etc.).
