James or Vanderhoof.

This position is excluded from union membership.

Although this position has onsite office based requirements, it may temporarily be performed virtually due to the current extraordinary circumstances related to COVID-19.

This may remain in place until physical distancing advisories are lifted.

Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below: A Bachelor’s Degree in resource management or related studies, and minimum 7 years of experience in resource management; OR A Master’s Degree in resource management or related studies, and minimum 5 years of experience in resource management; OR A technical diploma in resource management or related studies, and minimum 10 years of experience in resource management; OR An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience in management of financial resources and/or projects.

Preference may be given to candidates with any of the following: Minimum 5 years’ experience leading, coaching and/or managing multi-disciplinary professional and/or technical staff.

Minimum 5 years’ experience negotiating solutions and/or partnerships with stakeholders in natural resource management.

Willingness Statements/Provisos: Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 B.C.

driver’s licence or equivalent.

Travel is required including frequent travel to deliver management support to both locations.

Must be willing to meet the transportation arrangements required by the ministry (i.e.

travel in small aircraft, helicopter, driving on natural resource roads, etc.).
