THE ROLE
Under the direction of the District Manager, the Financial Planner develops personal financial plans for clients covering cash management, finances, investments, education, retirement, estate planning and taxes. She/he analyzes clients’ financial records, sets goals and develops a financial strategy. She/he advises clients on implementing the financial plan to help them achieve their goals. The incumbent promotes and provides financial planning services to current and former CAF members, and their families. She/he also generates awareness of SISIP Financial, its mission, services, policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field AND several years of experience in financial services
Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
Registered to sell Mutual Funds (MFDA/AMF)
Required to hold or successfully complete the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) OR Personal Financial Planner® (PFP) designation
Maintain registration and member in good standing status as CFP or PFP licensee of the Financial Planners Standards Counsel (FPSC)
Investment Funds Course (IFC)
Experience
In the provision of financial planning and investment services
In building relationships with clients
In organizing and delivering presentations
In providing investment advice
In preparing written financial plans

SISIP Financial operates 22 branches across Canada offering guidance and expertise by certified financial planners to assist CAF members and their families with their short and long-term financial goals. SISIP Financial provides a holistic approach to financial planning, investing, insurance and counselling services to the Canadian military community.
This is an on-site position.

Salary plus Employee Incentive Plan (2022 rates).
