THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeper/Linen-Room Attendant cleans occupant rooms, lobby, hallways, washrooms, and all common areas. She/he dusts furniture and vacuums carpeting, draperies and upholstered furniture. She/he makes beds, changes sheets and distributes clean towels and toiletries, as well as empties trash containers. She/he receives, marks, washes, finishes, checks, and wraps laundry articles. She/he operates washing machine and tumbler to clean and dry laundry and finishes laundered articles with a hand iron and pressing machine.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
An acceptable combination of education, training and experience will be considered
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential, Bilingual an asset
