Job Summary The position will provide HR support for the Brantford Site & the Global Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (GAPIP GTA) groups.

As a member of the Function/Department Leadership Team, the HR Partner, People & Performance partners with the business to support the successful achievement of business goals through the effective delivery of HR policies and programs across all assigned areas, including Apotex Values and Winning Behavours and Global Business Ethics & Compliance and Safety, Health and Environment.

The key focus of the role is to provide assigned client group(s) of the with people solutions and programs that will grow the business and coaching Leaders to foster increased employee and organization performance.

This role must work effectively in a global matrix environment and regularly collaborate with HR CoEs in support of the Business and HR Strategy.

Job Responsibilities Business Partnering Responsible for leading and implementing Human Resources programs including workforce analytics/planning, performance management, talent management acquisition, succession planning, change management, training and development, and HR systems.

Responsible for providing ongoing HR support to all client groups in the API & GAPIP functions.

This includes effective leadership coaching and employee relations to optimize operational efficiencies.

Working in accordance with the Global Talent Acquisition processes, responsible for talent attraction, selection & retention while ensuring employment equity for all client groups As a member of the People & Performance Canada Team, participate in implementing key HR programs & projects, collaborating, and leveraging the CoE’s for effective business & employee systems management.

Execute the Employee Engagement Survey objectives with facilitation of employee groups & people leader standard work that is aligned with the continuous improvement and organizational accountability process.

To ensure ongoing delivery of the Site Pandemic Program, effectively maintaining employee health & operational efficiency through enrolling employee trust and cooperation.

Champion employee advocacy and treating all with dignity and respect.

Conduct Exit interviews and advise Department Head.

Ensure all investigations are conducted in a timely, discrete and professional manner.

Coaching Coach and mentor Leaders and Employees with a particular focus on identifying, assessing and development in support of Critical Positions, Talent Succession to minimize risk of disruption of operations.

Job Requirements Education University degree in HR or a related field with a preference for a relevant HR designation Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder groups.

Ability to apply workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies and succession management to daily business needs Strong working knowledge of HRMS systems and workforce analytics.

Demonstrated knowledge of Employment Legislation; coaching and counselling; dispute resolution and facilitation skills; principles of change management Ability to drive results as an individual contributor while staying focused on overall HR team goals and success.

Experience Experience in leading HR programs and projects, including change management responsibilities.

10 years progressive Human Resource experience, including a minimum 5 years in a generalist/employee relations capacity.
