– Monday-Friday (3:00pm-11:15pm) Annual Base Hours: 2015 Salary: $15.241 Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba.

The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview The Lead Hand Entry Point Screener assumes in-charge responsibility for the Entry Point Screeners on day, evening and night weekend shifts, statutory holidays and other designated shifts in addition to performing the duties of the Entry Point Screener.

Assists the Supervisor in coordinating the workflow in order to provide optimum service in an effective and timely manner.

Provides orientation to the Entry Point Screeners on new, revised and unfamiliar assignments.

Experience Not Applicable Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) High school Education, Manitoba Standards required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Respectful of diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of patients and their family members.

Friendly personality and a genuine interest in helping others.

Excellent communication skills.

Conscientious, organized and attention to detail.

Ability to adhere to the site safety policies, confidentiality and dress code.

English communication skills, oral and written.

Compliance with workplace safely, PPE policies and procedures required.

Physical Requirements Position involves walking and standing for sustained periods of time.

Good physical and mental health, visual, aural acuity and manual dexterity required.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.

The Collective Agreement this position is covered under, is identified by the Union noted above.

As a result of The Health Sector Bargaining Unit Review Act , the bargaining agent for this position may differ from the Union identified.
