Manager, Sales Enablement, Individual Brokerage


This is a Contract position in Scarborough, ON posted May 29, 2021.

What is the opportunity?

As the Manager, Sales Enablement, Individual Brokerage, you will provide in-field consultation, training, and on-boarding for Regional VP’s, managers, Inside Wholesalers, Sales Support Representatives, Senior Sales Consultants and Sales Consultants to RBC Insurance (RBCI) Individual Brokerage for the Life, Living Benefits, GSI and Wealth product lines.

You will achieve sales and business development goals through the support of brokerage by providing in-field training, consultation and presentations.

What will you do?

Deliver a consistently superior broker experience through the wholesaler or specialist by focusing on insurance advice using the Proactive Advice Culture (PAC) model and promoting submission of high quality insurance applications.

Liaise with Regional Vice Presidents (RVP’s), Senior Sales Consultants (SSC’s), Sales Consultants (SC’s), head office partners, sales support, and the Senior Managers, Business Development for Individual Brokerage to ensure business gets settled.

Maintain key partnering relationship with Regional Vice President and Senior Managers, Business Development, with the purpose of prioritizing, planning and executing against the needs of the region.

Obtains insights and feedback, on the challenges and needs of the sales teams, leveraging meetings, surveys, training sessions, etc., to the Manager, Advisor and Leader Enablement.

Support RBCI wholesalers by providing in-field training, consultation, and presentations.

Partner with Sales Support Representative and the Business Development team to maximize sales from all advisors Deliver presentations to RVPs, managers, wholesalers, IW’s, and SSR’s on sales concepts, market and product updates.

Partner with Senior Manager, Channel Design & Initiatives Delivery, Life, Health, and Wealth to ensure sales teams are trained on new initiatives, changes in product, etc.

Partner with Manager, Sales Enablement, Group Brokerage & HNW Group to support the brokerage teams with collaborative support and consistent alignment.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have 5 years professional experience in the Insurance industry Proven demonstration of Leadership Model Behaviours Expertise in Sales Concepts Proven experience with implementing initiatives of different sizes Experience with onboarding and training new employees University degree or equivalent Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) Nice-to-have Chartered Life Underwriter Designation (CLU) Certified Financial Planner Designation (CFP) Bilingualism (English and French) an asset What’s in it for you?
