THE ROLE
As a Marina Services Attendant, you play an important role, providing quality leisure programs, services and ensuring the safety of our clients. You provide services to marina members/visitors, such as fuel, pump-out, ice, launches, rentals, updates on weather or river conditions and assistance with docking. You ensure that emergency marina rescue boats and equipment are in good condition, outboard fuel tanks are full, rescue/tow lines are readily available, and equipment deficiencies are brought to the supervisor’s attention.
The Marina Service Attendant issues canoe, kayak or paddle boards with safety equipment to customers and briefs customers on the safe usage of rentals and equipment. You may check anchor chains on docks and adjust as necessary. You may conduct safety hazard inspections as per marina checklist, check security of mooring and docking lines of boats. You may maintain grounds and perform minor repairs to docks, ramps, floats and associated rigging, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
– High school diploma AND some years’ experience in a related field
– Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card
Experience
– In operation of small power boats
– In refueling watercrafts or similar vehicles
– In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
– In cash handling
