THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Store Manager and Lead Cook, the incumbent will prepare, cook, and serve food in accordance with menus, established and standardized recipes, and production control charts. The Cook will be responsible to ensure that quality products and services are provided in accordance with identified standards. The incumbent will operate kitchen equipment, restock shelves and maintain a clean and sanitary work area. Adhere to Tim Horton’s service standards during operation of the kiosk and equipment that supplies Tim Horton’s product. Comply with NPF policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in hospitality, food service management, or a related field AND some years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage service sector
OR
High school diploma AND several years of experience in the food service sector, or in a related hospitality field
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential / French Essential / Bilingual an asset
