THE ROLE
The Customer Service Attendant plays an important role by providing information on the services and facilities that the PSP Recreation department offers to our military members and their families.
Our services are tailored to help families with the challenges they may face due to military life and make the mostof everyday activities such as going to the playground or gym. We believe that when members of the CanadianArmed Forces are able to take good care of themselves and their families, they can do better both at home andat work. Whether families need to sign the kids up for swimming lessons, improve their fitness, make friends in anew community, our services are here to help.
As a Customer Service Attendant each day will be different as you manage access to the facility, answercustomer inquiries and oversee services such as membership sales while maintaining a cash float and providingdaily sales reports. You will book facilities and programs, controlling the use of sports and recreation equipment while providing guidance to customers on the operation of the equipment, performing minor maintenance whenrequired and help ensure the cleanliness of the equipment and facility.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High School Diploma
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development or HIGH FIVE Sport.
HIGH FIVE Healthy Minds for Healthy Children
Experience
In cash handling
In office administration
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership

Bilingual Essential

This unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the UFCW local 175 bargaining unit at CFSG Ottawa-Gatineau.
