THE ROLE
Fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs are delivered by PSP on Bases, Wings and Units across Canada and in deployed operations. PSP delivers evidence-based programs, which contribute to the health and well-being of the military community and operational effectiveness of the CAF.

We are looking for Recreation Leaders who are outgoing, creative and love working with children and youth between the ages of 4 and 16. You’ll gain experience in planning and facilitating recreation programming, budgeting and ensuring the safety of all participants.
As a Recreation Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of summer camp; implementing programs and activities, ensuring all supplies are prepared and providing oversight on campers and recreation staff.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma (OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered)
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
A valid driver’s license (Province), an asset
HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development or HIGH FIVE Sport
HIGH FIVE Healthy Minds for Healthy Children

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg).
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
