Whether it be a snowmobile, ATV, UTV, motorcycle, dirtbike, bicycle or watercraft our customers always come first.Position OverviewOur flagship store in Guelph, Ontario has recently undergone a MASSIVE expansion, and we are seeking a seasoned retail professional to come onboard and join our Store Management Team at our newly renovated location.

The ideal candidate has 2 or more years’ experience working as a manager within a technical, fast-paced retail environment, such as clothing or outdoor equipment, and has experience progressing in responsibilities in a retail setting.

An extremely high level of ownership is critical to this position, along with the ability to provide leadership and training to others, and most importantly, create an outstanding customer experience every time.Knowledge of the powersports industry is not required, but highly valued in all applicants – however, prior retail management experience is an absolute must.

This is exciting opportunity for those seeking a rewarding career, long-term growth opportunities, and to be a part of an industry-leading team!Role & ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Store Management Team on recruitment, staffing, team development, training and coaching on best retail practicesMerchandise products by creating impactful, value-driven presentations to drive sales at a high velocity (i.e end-caps, floor stacks, etc)Identify store needs and alter sales floor layouts and displays accordinglyExecute strong operational efficiency and standardsPlan, prepare and execute tent sales that drive salesDevelop team by training them on product knowledge, stock processing, pricing, filling and stocking floor racks, store maintenance, store operations, warehousing, increasing sales and company policies & proceduresFoster an excited, motivated and well-trained team by coaching and training on store operations and visual standardsCreate and maintain a fun and exciting store environmentCommunicate with head office to ensure all duties are being effectively carried out.

Present a professional image in appearance, words and actionDemonstrate professionalism and a personable manner which inspires the team to do the sameBuild positive team relations, demonstrate ethical behavior, and maintain all safety guidelines.Qualifications2+ years of progressive management experience working in a technical, fast-paced retail environment is requiredHands on working knowledge of retail systems and operationsAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with constant shifting prioritiesExceptional customer service and problem solving abilitiesOrganizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essentialOutstanding ability in providing top-notch customer serviceSelf-driven with high ownership and accountability over all tasks completedExceptional time management and prioritization skillsAdditional DetailsThis is a full-time opportunity with varying hours and overtime as required the successful candidate must be available for shifts during days, evenings, and weekendsThis position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) throughout the storeWe thank applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
