THE ROLE
As a Senior Application Developer, you manage the design, development and implementation of applications, such as internal applications and off-the-shelf applications. You review and evaluate business solutions in consideration of corporate strategy and business objectives.
The Senior Application Developer advise management and colleagues on industry trends and standards in the areas of software procurement, development, implementation and maintenance. Remain current with new technology and recommend changes to the user environment. You will also provide technical expertise, information, advice and guidance to the developers.
This is an expert role, working with a team, where you will exercise your knowledge and skills daily. If you are passionate about technology and want to be part of a team who is becoming the orchestrator of digital innovation, this is the opportunity for you.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Software Development, Computer Programming or a related field AND several years of experience in software development, support and maintenance
Experience
In Microsoft Azure. Including but not limited to migrating infrastructure to the cloud, developing and setting up environment in Azure (Extensive)
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English or French Essential, Bilingual an asset
