THE ROLE
The server greets customers, presents menus, makes recommendations and answers questions regarding food and beverages. They take orders and relay to the kitchen and bar staff. The incumbent also serves food and beverages.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years of experience in food and beverage service
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (18)
Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (ON)
Experience
In serving food and beverages
In cash handling
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential, Bilingual an asset
