Sports Stores Supervisor

THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator, the Sports Stores Supervisor plans, organizes and supervises sports stores activities and equipment according to established policies and regulations. They supervise employees and input employee hours into the pay system. They supervise the issue and receipt of sports equipment and maintain inventory of equipment. They supervise and complete performance checks and minor maintenance on equipment, and perform scheduled and non-scheduled inspection of equipment and facilities for safety and ensure corrective actions are taken as required.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field

AND

Valid Driver’s License (Ontario)

Valid DND 404 Military Driver’s Licence, an asset

Experience

In the issuing of sports equipment

In equipment maintenance/scheduling

In loss prevention

In inventory control

In record keeping/invoicing

In personnel administration

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English Essential
