Strategy and Operations Manager – Coaching, People Advisory Services

The opportunity As a key member of the Canadian Workforce Advisory Services team you will have the opportunity to be part of the development and ongoing management of a new service offering for EY.

You will bring your operations management expertise to build the offering and deliver sustainable value to the organization.

Your key responsibilities Your role as the Canada Coaching Strategy & Operations Manager will focus on the development, activation and sustainment of the EY Canada Coaching practice operating model.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the operations, finance, digital strategy and go-to-market execution activities to support the delivery of the coaching offering.

Your core responsibilities will comprise of back-office management and go-to-market activation, leveraging other support resources as required.

• Management of ongoing back-office operations, which may include: o Financial management Oversee sales and revenue reporting, analysis and forecasting Extract insights and identify trends from data to inform the practice strategy Oversee the coaching practice operating budget Manage the invoicing and payment processes for clients and coaches o Digital strategy for coaching delivery Explore digital tools and enablers for delivering coaching to develop compelling propositions with clients Optimize the digital coaching platform for client delivery Oversee onboarding to and ongoing support of clients and coaches on the digital coaching platform Oversee the end-to-end coaching workflow for key engagements Manage process to trouble shoot and resolve platform issues with EY teams and with the vendor o Internal communications and stakeholder management Prepare regular status updates for EY leadership and engagement teams Facilitate standing practice operations meetings Oversee stakeholder engagement o Resource management Develop and execute contracts with coaches Onboard coaches to the coach network Oversee the maintenance of the coach network Identify coaching resource requirements to deliver client engagements o Risk management Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols Ensure compliance with EY risk management policies and protocols o Knowledge management Act as the central point of contact for all coaching practice resources Maintain the repository of coaching offering templates and support materials Lead the ongoing execution of the go-to-market strategy, which may include: o Develop new marketing and sales materials (e.g.

proposals, sales decks) o Support the strategic planning efforts for the coaching practice o Identify demands, trends and opportunities for coaching services to build and maintain the sales pipeline Skills and attributes for success
• Process-driven, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Strong strategic, organizational, and independent project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and navigate ambiguity in a deadline-driven and matrixed environment
• Enjoys navigating new digital platforms
• A strong executive presence with the ability to work alongside, and effectively communicate with, executives
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to work both independently and with the team, relying on strong influencing skills to achieve results
• Excellent relationship building skills, adapting to all levels of internal and external stakeholders
• Enthusiastic team player who thrives on new challenges and collaborating on new ideas To qualify for the role you must have
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
• 5 years of experience in a role that requires managing multiple, simultaneous streams of activity
• Strong program/project/campaign management and execution experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and complex projects and initiatives at one time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio) Ideally, you’ll also have
• Prior experience with operations management for a practice, department or function
• Past experience working in a professional services organization is highly desirable
