What can you expect in this role?

Reporting to the Director, Claims Technical Learning and Development, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, creating and implementing targeted and engaging learning solutions using adult learning methodologies and instructional design best practices.

This role works collaboratively with Claims insurance partners to successfully train and educate all claims disciplines nationally.

Works collaboratively with claim partners to identify and evaluate team performance, creating content and delivering coaching and training designed to drive productivity and enhance the customer experiences Develop and deliver group and individualized training programs Nationally Conduct need analysis with staff to better identify skill gaps to assist in the creation of individual and group coaching / training needs Providing regular coaching to both inside and outside claims team members Provide regular training feedback to leaders and action plan recommendations Reviews and analyzes post training assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the training content and integrate updates, as necessary Works closely with Learning & development partners to create content which allows for the transfer of skills and knowledge necessary to meet Claims goals and objectives What do you bring to the role?

University degree or 2-year college diploma in one of the following programs: Insurance, Law & Security, Loss Control or Business Administration, Architectural Technology and/or the CIP designation, or equivalent industry experience Minimum 2-3 years of claims adjusting experience, strong knowledge in Fraud and Subrogation considered an asset Experience in coordination and facilitation of training or coaching engagements Excellent presentation and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills Experience coaching and training adult learners Ability to effectively present in live and webinar training environments Highly self-motivated and directed Demonstrated collaborative skills and open to feedback Able to perform well in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure Team player adaptable to a changing environment Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset Experience in Instructional Design considered an asset Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and course design considered and asset This role requires successful clearance of a background check (including credit & criminal checks) We also take potential into consideration.
