Warranty Technician / Home Deficiency Technician About Our Client & Role This self-performing single-family home developer is a well known name in BC with a strong reputation for building great homes.

They make sure that each one of their builds is of the highest quality and their new homeowners get the customer service they deserve.

You will join an established team that shares on-call duties.

All your schedules will be completed by the office support team.

You will deal directly with homeowners and ensure they are happy while also making it clear what is covered under warranty.

Key Duties Visit recently occupied homes to review and diagnose homeowners warranty concerns.

Clearly communicate action plans with the homeowner and clarify what is warrantable as needed.

Coordinate with the office team to plan repairs or take care of simple repairs on the spot.

Schedule more intensive repairs by planning and executing the repair at a later date.

Coordinate with trades to execute more complicated fixes or one requiring permits.

Keep company software (NewStar) updated with progress.

Occasionally assist with pre-occupancy walk-throughs as the need arises.

Typical repairs include water damage, ceiling repairs, drywall issues, fixture repairs, floor touch-ups and other common tweaks and adjustments.

Follow COVID policies while in occupied homes.

Qualifications 2 years in a deficiency, warranty or customer care carpenter or technician role in new home construction.

Experienced with 2-5-10 warranty and post-occupancy repairs.

Comfortable completing common home repairs and able to diagnose issues.

Strong communications and comfortable dealing with Homeowners in a firm but fair manner.

Strong attention to detail.

Able to utilize an iPad in order to follow and update a schedule.

Compensation Salary $60,000 Vehicle provided and a gas card Vacation
